Sansone beach. One of the best beaches of Elba Sansone beach consists of small white shingles and has a fantastic sea bed, typical of the northern side of the Island of Elba. The beach of Sansone is located after the beaches of Acquaviva and La Sorgente, and before the Enfola headland, along the road from Portoferraio. It is a white pebble beach that boasts crystal clear waters. It is quite popular and a perfect backdrop for photographs!
Capo Bianco beach. The beach is made of small, round, white pebbles, as well as the cliffs behind. Marvelous clear and transparent waters. The name comes from the point formed by the very white rocks, the same color as the pebbles, which together with the very clear water create fantastic reflections.
Cavoli beach. One of the best beaches of Elba Cavoli beach lies on the southern coast of the island, at around 4.5 km from Marina di Campo, in the direction of Fetovaia. Its 300 meters of fine white sand are considered the coolest on Elba because there are a always a lot of parties and young people there. The Cavoli beach is always very crowded, so it is not ideal for those looking for peace and tranquility, or for families.
Biodola beach. Biodola beach is one of the best beaches of Elba. It is the largest beach in the Biodola bay, where you can also find the beaches of Scaglieri and Forno. You can easily reach it; it is just 3 kilometres from Procchio. It has fine, white sand and all the necessary services and facilities for families.
Procchio beach. The ancient Cervinia is today one of longest and best-equipped sandy beaches on the island; in olden times it was an important centre for iron and copper working, as testified by archaeological finds, among which a smelting oven and Roman ship with its precious cargo of amphorae, still perfectly conserved. The beach can be reached by car from Campo all’Aia, while the thoroughfare that leads to the beach from the pretty little village of Procchio is for pedestrians only. There are numerous tourist services and good car-parking facilities in one of the best beaches of Elba
Fetovaia beach. Fine golden sand, granite reefs, crystal-clear water, sheltered by a rugged, maquis-covered, 800 metre long promontory. This is Fetovaia, one of the finest beaches on the island. Situated on the south-west side of Elba, its beauty is so widely renowned that it is usually crowded in the summer months. If you prefer a quieter area of the beach, the large, smooth granite rocks nearby are ideal for relaxing.
