Once upon a time there were paper guides and maps, and we found ourselves traveling with backpacks filled with ruffled sheets and notebooks. Today there are those who remain faithful to the old traditions, but many others, however, have converted to digital. Now they discover Florence and Tuscany by using various apps. Tuscany boasts numerous applications (downloadable from the App Store or Google Play) dedicated to national and foreign tourists. Which are the best?

Tuscany+
Tuscany+ is the official augmented reality application of Tuscany, developed by the official tourism board of Tuscany. The app allows to discover what is around you by clicking augmented reality icons in live view to get details about a specific location, landmark, restaurant or museum. All points of interest are category color coded into dining, sightseeing, accommodation and entertainment, in both live view and in map view. This app works only when you are in Tuscany and it requires an internet connection.
