Wine festivals in Tuscany Another summer has come to an end, and the end of the summer marks the beginning of the grape harvest in Tuscany. There are also many festivals and feasts dedicated to typical wines of the region and held in the most beautiful Tuscan towns. Here is the list of the best wine festivals in Tuscany in September 2015.

Festa del Vino di Montecarlo. Montecarlo (Lucca). August 28 – September 8. Music, art exhibitions, wine and local food tastings in Piazza D’Armi and Piazza Garibaldi in the center of Montecarlo, and in the garden of the Palace of former Foundation “Pellegrini-Carmignani”.

Settembre DiVino. Pitigliano (Grosseto). September 3-6. Each september the streets of Pitigliano’s historic centre are filled with thousands of people, music, shows and best local wine. One of the most beatiful towns of whole Italy invites you to celebrate the grape harvest.

Expo del Chianti Classico. Greve in Chianti (Firenze). September 10-13. Expo del Chianti Classico is one of the bigest and one of the most important wine events in Tuscany. It is a great opportunity to fully immerse into the world of Chianti Classico wine, as well as the possibility to taste the specialties of the Chianti area.

Festa delle Cantine di Manciano. Manciano (Grosseto). September 11–13. Festa delle Cantine for tourists is a chance to experience Manciano at its harvest festival where everything from the food to the music is authentic.

Vino al Vino Festival. Panzano in Chianti (Firenze). September 17-20. Every year winemakers of Panzano in Chianti get together in Piazza Bucciarelli with their best products. Vino al vino is a good opportunity to taste different styles of wines, visit a beautiful village and enjoy some music.

Festa dell’Uva di Scansano. Scansano (Grosseto). September 19-20, 26-27. Festa dell’Uva di Scansano offers wine tasting in historic wineries of the town, craft and food markets, music, exhibitions, traditional parade and Vespa meeting.

Festa dell’uva di Chiusi. Chiusi (Siena). September 26 -28. Festa dell’uva di Chiusi presents a lot of different Italian wines from all over the country. This festival is really perfect place to relax, enjoy the music, good Italian wine and traditional Tuscan food.

Festa dell’uva dell’Impruneta. Impruneta (Firenze). September 27. We can We can easily say that the Festa dell’uva dell’Impruneta is one of the oldest wine festivals in Italy. It was founded in 1926 and still delights tourists and locals with lots of music, shows, food and wine, of course.
